Erin Marie Orlando and Carter Lane Hatcher, residents of Atlanta, Ga., announce their engagement. Orlando is the daughter of Robert and Mary Ann Orlando of Fredonia. Hatcher is the son of Florence Hatcher Record and the late Lane Hatcher of Ellijay, Ga.
The bride-to-be graduated from Fredonia High School and Buffalo State College. She received her master's degree from Walden University. She is a second grade teacher for Fulton County Schools in Georgia.
The prospective groom graduated from Holy Innocents' Episcopal School in Atlanta, Ga., and Georgia State University. He is an account executive for Verizon Business in Atlanta.
