Chelsey Cummings and Jon Winchester announce their engagement. Cummings is the daughter of Michael and Wendy Cummings of Mayville. Winchester is the son of Jim and Jan Winchester of Bemus Point.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Chautauqua Lake Central School, a 2006 graduate of University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in psychology and minor in athletic coaching, and a 2008 graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a master's degree in school counseling. She is employed at E2CCB at Hewes School as a counselor and is the Southwestern CSD JV girls basketball coach.
The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Maple Grove Junior-Senior High School and a 2005 graduate of Gannon University with a B.S. in marketing. He works for the Jamestown Fire Department.
