Ashley Elizabeth Konert and Ryan Michael Lanfear were united in marriage on Aug. 28, 2010 in Buffalo. The wedding took place at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church at 2 p.m. A double-ring ceremony was performed. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Templeton Landing on Lake Erie in Buffalo.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Carol Konert of Fredonia. The groom is the son of Diane Clogston of Lockport and the late Daniel Lanfear of Lockport.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a Watters white silk taffeta dress, with a rouched bodice and a sweep train. Her bouquet consisted of fresh summer flowers varying in shades of pink.

The matron of honor was Amber Blair, sister of the bride, of Cassadaga. Bridesmaids were friends, Ashley Nosek of Snyder; Jennifer Moch of Tampa, Fla.; Amy Bilson of Lancaster and sister-in-law Tara Lanfear of Tonawanda. The junior bridesmaid was cousin of the groom Molly Lanfear of Hamburg. Bridesmaids wore chiffon, rose petal-colored, floor-length gowns.
Serving as best man was Keith Lanfear, brother of the groom, of Lockport. Groomsmen were friends, Thomas Crean, Matthew Deys, Ryan DiMillo and Damien Brady, all of Buffalo; Christopher Bilson of Lancaster, and Michael D'Agostino of Lockport. The ring bearer was nephew of the bride, Gavin Blair of Cassadaga. He carried a pillow handmade by the bride's mother with the bride and groom's initials embroidered in pink.
Phyllis Crino of Dunkirk and James Weber of Newfane both did scripture readings at the ceremony.
Mrs. Lanfear is a 2001 graduate of Fredonia High School. She earned her bachelor's degree from Fredonia State and her MS in school counseling from Canisius College. She works at Stella Niagara Education Park as a permanently certified school counselor.
Mr. Lanfear is a 2001 alumnus of Lockport High School. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University at Buffalo in management. He works at HSBC as a director of business transformation.
The couple honeymooned for two weeks in Hawaii, traveling to the islands of Maui and Kauai. They reside in Tonawanda.
