Mr. and Mrs. Ken McConnell

Kellie V. Chase of South Dayton and Kenneth J. McConnell of Homer were united in marriage on Oct. 11, 2010 at the Syline Lodge at Highland Forest in Fabius, N.Y. Judge Marilyn Stoker performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Victoria Chase of South Dayton. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack McConnell of Cortland.

Presented in marriage by her grandfather, Ronald Chase, the bride wore a strapless, ivory lace tea-length gown with beading. She carried ivory roses, lilies, mums and hypericum berries.

The maid of honor was Lora A. Cunningham of Charleston, S.C., friend of the bride. Cunningham wore a knee-length champagne satin, strapless gown with black tulle overlay. Kathleen Palmer of Hubbardsville, N.Y., was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Madelyn Chase of South Dayton, cousin of the bride. They wore champagne satin, knee-length gowns with one shoulder ruffle on the sleeve. Delanie K. McConnell, daughter of the couple, was the flower girl.

The best man was Benjamin Brooks of Homer, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were David Podsiedlik, of Boston, Mass., friend of the groom; and Michael Conde, of Madison, N.Y., friend of the couple. Ring bearer was the bride's cousin, Kyle Chase of South Dayton.

The reception was also held at Skyline Lodge at Highland Forest.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Pine Valley and attended SUNY Morrisville. She is a stay at home mother.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Homer Central School and 2007 graduate of SUNY Morrisville. He is employed by James Kane dairy farm.

The couple will honeymoon in Florida in February and reside in Homer.
