The March Gala will be held Sunday, March 13, with doors opening at 11 a.m. and dinner at 12:15 p.m. The event will be held at the Dunkirk Senior Center, 45 Cliffstar Court in Dunkirk?The dinner menu includes punch and appetizers, soup and salad (variety), sliced peaches and cupcake, coffee and tea.
Dinner will be followed by an election of directors. The nominating committee will present a slate of qualified candidates to fill the open positions on the board. Nominations from the floor will be accepted prior to a ballot vote. For those who choose to come for election only, ballots will be available at the door from 1 to 2 p.m.
There will also be a 50/50 drawing, special prize raffle, Bingo and cards. All seniors are welcome to come and see if they will have the luck of the Irish.
Reservations are required for dinner. Sign up at the center or call 366-9886 by Friday, March 11. The donation is $2.
