Craig and Anne Staebner of Franklin, Conn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Rachel Staebner of Franklin, to Andrew Joseph "Andy" Joy of Fredonia. Joy is the son of Rosemary and James Joy of Fredonia.
The bride-to-be graduated from Lyman Memorial High School in Lebanon, Conn., in 2007. She also graduated from the State University of New York at Cobleskill in December 2010 and received a bachelor's degree of technology in agriculture business enterprise. She presently works at her family's farm in Franklin, Blue Slope Farm, Inc.
The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Fredonia High School. He also graduated from the State University of New York at Cobleskill with a bachelor's degree of technology in agriculture mechanics in May 2009. He is presently working as a precision ag specialist for Oxbo International Corporation along with working on his family's grape farm.
