Ronald and Monica Mazany of Ashville announce the engagement of their daughter, Marisa Ann, to Jacob Gordon Colwell, son of Daniel and Susan Colwell of Falconer.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Panama Central School and a SUNY Fredonia alumna where she received a bachelor's degree in mathematics education and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction in inclusive education. She is currently a long-term substitute at Falconer Central School teaching eighth-grade math.
Her fiance is a 2006 graduate of Falconer Central School and also a Jamestown Community College graduate where he received a degree in criminal justice. He is a ranch manager at Allegheny Whitetails in Akeley, Pa.
