Mr. and Mrs. Daniel L. (Bonnie Vogt) Bromsted recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Bromsted is the daughter of Marilyn Vogt and the late Rollin W. Vogt of Fredonia and is a second grade teacher at Brocton Central School. Mr. Bromsted is the son of the late Jack L. and Ruth B. Bromsted of East Pembroke, N.Y., and is the elementary choral director at Silver Creek Central School.
The couple was wed on July 12, 1986 in an afternoon ceremony held at the First Christian Church in Dunkirk, which was officiated by the Rev. Harland West. Attendants included Kimberly Mancino (maid of honor), JoAnne Cunningham, Adrienne Wragge, Roland E. Martin (best man), Richard Cunningham, David Kasper, Kelly Schoff (flower girl) and Nathan Davis (ring bearer). A reception following the ceremony was held at the Dunkirk Moose Club (formerly Rusch's Restaurant).
Mr. and Mrs. Bromsted reside in Dunkirk and have one daughter, Elizabeth, a recent graduate of Brocton Central School who will be entering S.U.N.Y. Fredonia in the fall to major in childhood inclusive education. A celebratory cruise to the Mediterranean with close friends is planned for later in the summer.
