Ralph and Dolores Dolce of Dunkirk are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today.
Ralph M. Dolce and Dolores A. Dolan were united in marriage July 24, 1971 at St. Mary's Church in Dunkirk. The couple met in high school.
Mrs. Dolce is the daughter of the late Shirley and William Dolan. Mr. Dolce is the son of Katherine Dolce and the late Ralph Dolce.

The couple has two children: Jennifer (Michael) Krauth and Rachel (Louis) Karnes, and three grandchildren: Kathryn, Elizabeth, and Cecelia Karnes.
Mrs. Dolce works for G&P Gynecare in Dunkirk and Mr. Dolce is the owner and operator of Ralph's Pennzoil in Dunkirk.
