Dr. Richard and Karen Higham of Poland, Ohio, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Lea Higham, and John David Drayo, both of Fredonia. Parents of the future groom are Samuel L. Drayo Jr. of Fredonia and Susan and Leonard Star of Hudson, Ohio.
The bride-elect graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in integrated language arts. She is a benefits manager with Cott Beverages in Dunkirk.
The prospective groom earned a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and received a juris doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law. He is an attorney with Drayo Law Office in Fredonia.
