Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ivory of Fredonia announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Ivory, to Eric Alexander, son of James Alexander and Alice Alexander, both of Westfield.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Fredonia High School and earned her BS in mathematics and childhood education from SUNY Brockport in 2005. She also received her master's degree in curriculum and instruction and special education from SUNY Fredonia in 2006. Ivory taught at Forestville Elementary for four years and is now employed at Harris Hill Elementary in Penfield.
Her fiance is a 1999 graduate of Westfield Academy Central School and received his BS in criminal justice from SUNY Brockport in 2003. He is employed by the City of Rochester.
