Mr. and Mrs. John A. Mackowiak of Dunkirk announce the engagement of their daughter, Jillian Therese, to Seamus Michael O'Keefe, both of Buffalo. O'Keefe is the son of Brian and Patricia O'Keefe, of Fayetteville, N.Y.
The bride-to-be is a 1999 alumna of Dunkirk High School and received a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is an Operations Auditor at Univera Healthcare, in Buffalo.
A graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School in Manlius, N.Y., O'Keefe earned his BFA degree in visual art from the University at Buffalo. He is a web developer at Erie 1 BOCES in West Seneca.
