David and Barbara Brooker of Westfield celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 26 in Orlando, Fla. The celebration was attended by their children: Marc of Westfield, David of La Habra, Calif., Ellen of Westfield, grandchildren Christopher and Jena of Westfield, and friends from Spring Hill, Fla., and La Habra.
Brooker and the former Barbara Main were married Aug. 26, 1961 in Central United Methodist of Endicott, N.Y. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. L. Hawke.
Brooker was employed by the former Mayville Central School teaching high school science and also by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department as a navigation deputy.
