Michelle L. Swackhammer and David K. Mandery announce their engagement. Swackhammer is the daughter of Daniel and Barbara Swackhammer of Jamestown. Mandery is the son of Janet G. Mandery of Rochester and the late Kenneth M. Mandery.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Jamestown High School, and a graduate of SUNY Fredonia with a bachelor of science degree in education degree. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in education at SUNY Fredonia and is employed as a substitute teacher in Chautauqua County.
Her fiance is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia with a bachelor of science degree in computer information sciences, and has a master of science degree in information systems management from the University of Rochester, Simon School. He is employed by the University of Rochester as an applications analyst.
