Ladies Society Blessed Mary Angela Parish
The Ladies Society of Blessed Mary Angela Parish gathered Tuesday for their monthly meeting.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read by Secretary Jenny Naruszewicz. Treasurer Joan Zielinski gave the financial report and Dorothy Sarzyniak collected the annual dues. Sophia Urbanik reported for the Sunshine committee.
The Ladies Society is planning a cash raffle fundraiser to be held in the near future.
Apple pie a la mode and pumpkin pie was served from the table covered with a decorative Halloween cloth. The table was centered with a large fresh rust colored mum plant and three colorful scarecrow figures. Candles in gold holders flanked the refreshment committee.
Serving on the refreshment committee were Martha Bialaszewski, Sophia Urbanik and Nancy L. Woloszyn.
A raffle was held and many prizes were awarded. Woloszyn won the mum plant.
