Joseph and Sallie Muscato of Dunkirk will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 21, 2011. They were married in 1961 at St. Mary's Church in Dunkirk by Father Leo Vanston.
They have owned and operated The Studio Hair Shop in Dunkirk for 48 years.
The couple has two children, Kristin Britz of Fredonia and the late Deena Muscato-Dalrymple. They have six grandchildren, Taylor and Calan Britz of Fredonia and Sky, Bodhi, Sen and Anna Dalrymple of Norman, Okla.

They will be renewing their vows on Oct. 23 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and will be taking a celebratory vacation to St. Petersburg, Fla.
