Erin Clifton and Kirk Harrison were united in marriage on Aug. 6, 2011, at 4 p.m. on The Floating Stage in Bemus Point on Chautauqua Lake. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Robin Cuneo, cousin of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Rachel and Henry Hube of Dunkirk, and Richard and Terry Clifton of Dunkirk. The groom is the son of Kevin and Eleanor Harrison of East Boston, Mass.
The bride was escorted by her father, Richard Clifton. She wore an ivory, satin mermaid-style, floor-length, strapless gown with a champagne ribbon at the waist. The ribbon was held with a small bow and a vintage pearl brooch. The veil was a vintage-style birdcage veil, held in place with ivory flowers. Flowers at the wedding were a mix of gardenias, champagne roses, white snapdragons and white roses.

The matron of honor was Megan (Clifton) Mistry of Needham, Mass., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Robynn (Brown) Belch of Gansevoort, N.Y., childhood friend of the bride; Collin Hanlon of Mahopac, N.Y., childhood friend of the bride; and junior bridesmaid Megan Harrison, of Boston, Mass., daughter of the groom. The bride's honor attendant and female bridesmaids wore pewter satin, knee-length strapless dresses. The flower girl was Imogen Mistry of Needham, Mass., niece of the bride.
The best man was Jake Harrison of Boston, son of the groom. Ushers included Timothy Harrison of Boston, brother of the groom, and Richard Jeanetti of Boston, friend of the couple. The ring bearer was Milo Mistry of Needham, nephew of the bride.
The wedding soloist was Andrew Clifton, brother of bride, a Dunkirk native now residing in Colorado Springs, Colo. The wedding reception was held at Webb's Captain's Table in Mayville.
The bride graduated from Dunkirk High School, SUNY Binghamton University and Boston College graduate school. She is currently attending Northeastern Graduate School for a CAGS in mental health counseling. She is employed as a behavioral specialist within the Counseling & Intervention Center for Boston Public Schools.
The groom graduated from Northeast Regional & Technical High School in Wakefield, Mass., as well as North Shore Community College in Lynn, Mass. He is employed by the City of Boston as a sergeant for the Boston School Police.
The couple had a split honeymoon, with two weeks in Greece (Athens and the islands) and Turkey in August as a couple, and a week with friends on a cruise (to Bermuda from Boston) in September.
