Paulette and James Wright will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Oct. 23, 2011. They were married in 1971 at St. Joseph's Church in Fredonia. Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Harold Huber.
Paulette is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pacos of Fredonia. James is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Wright Jr., also of Fredonia.
Wedding attendants included maid of honor Bonnie Johnson and bridesmaids Janet Straight, Cathy Essex and Susan Pacos. Best man was Scott Trasher and ushers included Peter Epolito, Steve Lilly and Charles Pacos. Ann Ortolano as the flower girl and Robert Ortolano was the ring bearer.

James served in the U.S. Navy and is now enjoying retirement. Paulette has been employed by BOCES for 29 years.
The couple have three children; Brenda (Chad) Brant, James (Debbie) Wright and Stacy Tobin. They have five grandchildren, Karlie, Jamie, Jada, Nicholas and Addison.
The couple will celebrate with friends and family.
