Brenda Pogorzelski and Andrew Chmura

Brenda Pogorzelski of Dunkirk and Andrew Chmura of Cheektowaga were united in marriage on July 30, 2011, at the Moose Club in Dunkirk. Justice John Potter officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the late Norman and JoAnn Odebralski. The groom is the son of Helen Chmura of Orchard Park and the late Eugene Chmura.

The bride wore a pink A-line, square neck, long-sleeved, satin, lace, beaded dress with a cathedral train. The maid of honor was Suzanne Odebralski of Graham, N.C., sister of the bride. Tina Raymond, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Attendants were Laken and Calan Pogorzelski, daughters of the bride, along with Lyn Gajewski, Alice Hunt, Brenda L. Chmura and Lisa Pogorzelski.

Best man was John Chmura, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Austin and Wesley Michaels, sons of the groom; Ryan and Nathan Pogorzelski, sons of the bride; Norman Odebralski, brother of the bride, and David Borowski.

A reception followed at the Dunkirk Moose Club.

The bride is employed at Brooks Memorial Hospital. The groom is retired from Buffalo Trucking Center in Buffalo.

The couple took a cruise to Bermuda for their honeymoon. They reside in the town of Dunkirk.
