JAMESTOWN - On Sunday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m., the Unitarian Universalist Congregation located at 1255 Prendergast Avenue in Jamestown will present a Music Salon featuring a Classical Music Performance by Rintaro Wada, Cello and Ritsuko Wada, Piano.
Rintaro Wada, Cello
Rintaro Wada studied in Rochester, N.Y. and Japan earing a Master of Music in performance and literature from Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree and post-graduate diploma in cello performance from Showa College of Music. Mr. Wada currently teaches at Olean High School as an orchestra teacher and is a cello instructor for Houghton College's "Greatbatch School of Music" and Alfred University.

On Sunday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. , Rintaro Wada, Cello and Ritsuko Wada, Piano will perform at the Music Salon Series at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Jamestown.
Mr. Wada has given solo, chamber, and orchestra performances in Japan, Italy, and the United States. He has performed as the principal cellist of the Southern Tier Symphony and as third chair cellist of the Western New York Chamber Orchestra. His chamber music group performances include the Alfred Piano Trio, Allegany Piano Trio, Serendipity Piano Trio, and W Piano Quartet.
Ritsuko Wada, Piano
Ritsuko Wada was born in Japan and holds a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from Showa College of Music where she was a merit scholarship student studying with Japan's leading pianist, Takahiro Sonoda. She studied piano at the Respighi Summer Music Academy in Italy and Cahl Slue Conservatory in Germany.
Mrs. Wada began her teaching career in 1991 at the Yamaha Music School and has performed numerous recitals as a soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist in universities and churches. She was pianist in the Allegany Piano Trio, Serendipity Piano Trio and the W Piano Quartet.
This program is part of the continuing Music Salon Series provided by the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Jamestown. Funded in part by the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Re-grant Program administered by the Cattaraugus County Arts Council. Donations will be accepted to insure the continuation of the salons, and a reception will follow the performance.
The program is free and open to the public.
