Bullying comment right on mark

November 6, 2011
The OBSERVER

Editor, OBSERVER:

I would like to comment on Paul Christopher's article (Oct. 31), "Why bullying won't stop.

I agree 100 percent. If there is no discipline at home and at school, bullying will continue, and for the taxpayers to have to foot the bill for tutors for these bullies is ludicrous.

Suspend them - permanently if it happens more than once. They need to earn the right to a good education. Parents and teachers should have the right to discipline when needed. The state has convinced these kids that their own parents can't discipline them.

Look where it has led; as kids when our generation got in trouble at school, it was much worse when we got home, as it should be now.
