Holy Trinity Senior Citizens

Holy Trinity Senior Citizens met at the Parish Center. President Rita Lombardo gave the advocation followed by a reading titled "Thank the Lord."

Secretary Josie Wierczynski read the minutes of the previous meeting they were accepted and approved. Treasurer Doris LaSpada read the financial report and it was accepted as read by Phyllis Farrell and seconded by Josie Militello.

The Serenity Brick will be purchased this month and the club approved the inscription, Holy Trinity 2011 Senior Citizens.

"Happy Birthday" was sung to Ann Schlichter and congratulations were given to her to celebrate many more birthdays.

The Christmas party will be held at the White Inn on Dec. 8 at 12:30 p.m. The 50/50 raffle was won by Schlichter and Farrell. Raffle prizes and decorated paper bags filled with fall flowers and donated by Vice President LaSpada were won by Schlichter, Rita Lombardo and Militello.

A luncheon was enjoyed by members and with guests Sister Elizabeth Mackowiak and Kathy Gilval.

Each member brought their own lunch. Cider and donuts were provided by LaSpada and Josie Wierczynski. LaSpada provided the decorated bags and these were placed on a yellow tablecloth, fall napkins and plates provided by LaSpada.

Sister Mackowiak and Gilval provided salad dressing, panini sandwiches and potato soup. Members thanked them and were very glad they joined them for lunch.
