Guest speaker Sunday
LILY DALE - The Church of the Living Spirit will feature guest speaker Ellen Bourse at the Sunday worship service, 10:30 a.m. in the Assembly Hall on Cleveland Avenue. Other activities include: Wednesday, 7:30 p.m., Community Healing Service, Healing Temple, East Street; Thursday, 8-10 p.m., Native American Drumming, Assembly Hall.
Community Potluck
The Shepherd's Fellowship of Forestville, Sheridan and Silver Creek will host a Community Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner, Sunday at 6 p.m. at the St. John Bosco Auditorium, 2773 Route 20 in Sheridan. Pastor Molly Golando of the Sheridan United Methodist Church will lead activities during the course of the evening. Bring a dish to pass and table service. Turkey will be provided. Christmas cantata
WESTFIELD - The Westfield Community Chorus will be performing the Christmas Cantata "Noel Night of Everlasting Love" by Derric Johnson and J Daniel Smith. The chorus is directed by Sally Merwin. The chorus will be performing on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 4 p.m. at the West Portland Baptist Church in Westfield and at 7:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Dunkirk. A performance will also be held on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 4 p.m. at the Mayville United Methodist Church in Mayville and at 7:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Westfield.

Operation Christmas Child
St. Paul Ladies Service Guild and the Sunday School Children at St. Paul Lutheran Church prepared 19 boxes to be delivered to children throughout the world. "Operation Christmas Child" is a project of Samaritan's Purse. Each plastic box filled with toys, books, health items, etc., to be labeled for a (boy or girl) between the ages of 2-14.
The Service Guild is planning for the annual Christmas dinner party that will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 5 p.m. at the Colony Restaurant in Irving. In lieu of exchanging gifts, the ladies will collect funds to be given to a family in need during the Christmas season. The congregation is also sponsoring a food drive to be given to the Friendly Kitchen some time in December. The Sunday School will be practicing for the annual Christmas pageant to be held on Sunday, Dec. 18, at the 10:30 a.m. service.
