Deacon Matthew and MaryJane Hens of Fredonia announce the engagement of their daughter, Alana Margaret, to Michael David Flitt, son of Frank and Nancy Flitt of Dunkirk.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Fredonia High School and earned her bachelor of science degree in biology from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 2009. She is currently pursuing her doctorate of chiropractic degree at D'Youville College in Buffalo. She is expected to complete her Doctorate in May of 2013.
Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of Dunkirk High School and earned his bachelor of science in sport management and exercise science from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 2009. He is employed as a commercial banking specialist at M&T Bank in Buffalo.
