Mr. and Mrs. Jonah Brock

Mary Olenen and Jonah Brock of Dunkirk were united in marriage on Sept. 4, 2011, in a 5 p.m. double-ring ceremony at the Clarion Hotel in Dunkirk. Priscilla Yuen, keyboardist, provided music for the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Peter and Patricia Olenen of Westtown, N.Y. The groom is the son of Roland and Debra Brock of Mount Hope, N.Y.

The bride was escorted by her father. Serving as matron of honor was Alison Dubel of Hamburg, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids included Danielle Edwards of Port Jervis, N.Y., sister of the groom; Moriah Brock of Mount Hope, sister of the groom; and Lorna Silipino of Baltimore, Md., friend of the bride. The flower girl was Emma Edwards of Port Jervis, niece of the groom.

The best man was Jason Berke of Hugenot, N.Y., best friend of the groom. Groomsmen included Shawn Brentnol McPherson of White Plains, N.Y., friend of the groom, and John Silipino of Baltimore, friend of the bride. Serving as ring bearers were Sam Bolduc, Jacob Edwards and Benjamin Edwards, all nephews of the groom.

A reception was held at the Clarion Hotel.

The bride earned bachelor's and master's degrees in music education at SUNY Fredonia. She currently works as a music teacher at the Dunkirk City Schools.

The groom earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering at Manhattan College. He currently works as a quality inspector at Bailey Manufacturing LLC in Forestville.

The couple resides in Dunkirk. Their honeymoon is planned for a date in the future.
