An Angel appeared before Joseph, son of David.
She told him, Mary was with child
Conceived by the Holy Spirit
His name will be Jesus, King of the Jews.

In the city of Bethleham.
2001 years ago to be exact.
It is positively a known fact.

These were the days of Herod the King.
Three wise men from the east came to Jeruselem.
They asked Herod, "Where is the King of the Jews?
We have come to worship him."

Herod was troubled by this.
He gathered all the chief priests and scribes
"Where was the Christ Child to be born?"
They told him, "Bethlehem."
I was not there, I heard it said.
Herod sent the wise men to Bethlehem.
Go in search of the child, and
"Return to me that I, too, can worship him."
The Star went before them, where the Christ Child lay.
I was not there, I heard it said.
God came to them in a dream, saying
"Do not return to Herod." They obeyed,
After they had worshiped the King with gifts,
They returned to their country another way.
I was not there, I heard it said.
Now, there were shepards in the fields,
The angels told them not to fear the bright star,
But to follow it to where the Christ Child lay.
Seeing Jesus, they bowed down and worshipped him.
I was not there, I heard it said.
Behold an angel came to Joseph in a dream.
"Arise and take Mary and the Christ Child."
And flee to Egypt to avoid Herod's vengeance.
As he ordered all two-year-old male children, slain.

After the death of Herod,
An angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph
Telling him to take Mary and the child
Into the land of Isreal.
I was not there, I heard it said.
God told Joseph of the danger there
Archellaus, Herod's son, was reigning over Judea.
He took his family into Nazareth there residing.
Where Jesus brought Glory to his heavenly father.
I was not there, I heard it said.
Jesus King of Kings, and Lord of Lords,
Reigns today over all the earth.
No one can enter the Kingdom of God,
But by Jesus, the Son of God.
