Alyson Franklin and Aaron Borowczyk announce their engagement. Franklin is the daughter of Alice Rothenberger of Hamburg and Don Franklin of Cheektowaga. Borowczyk is the son of James and Carol Borowczyk of Fredonia.
The bride-to-be is a currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at Buffalo State College. The prospective groom is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia with a bachelor's degree in social work and a master's degree in social work from the University at Buffalo. He is a chemical dependency counselor at WCA Hospital in Jamestown.
A wedding has been planned for Dec. 31, 2011.
