Editor, OBSERVER:
I have been concerned about the 1,200 people who die each day from smoking. If we stand up together and work to get other people to stop smoking, we would be a step closer than we are right now to a healthier world.
Let us write to movie companies and tell them stop putting smoking in kids movies. Also, rate smoking movies PG-13 or R. If we do this then we could be a step closer because fewer kids will start smoking. We see it on the movie screen and it tells us that it's OK but it's not. So let's stand up and say stop smoking! In real life - and in movies.
