Mr. and Mrs. Andrew (Mary) Horton

Mary Katelin Gollnitz and Andrew Patrick Horton were united in marriage on Aug. 6, 2011, at Rotunda Memorial Church in Fredonia. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Ron Skawronski. Pianist was the bride's childhood friend, Chas Hannum of Fredonia.

The bride is the daughter of Martin and Jeanette Gollnitz of Fredonia. The groom is the son of Don and Donna Horton of Dunkirk.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Casablanca ivory ball gown with a sweetheart neckline. The gown featured sheer organza over silky satin, Swarovski crystals, lace appliques edging the gown and crystal buttons cascading down the cathedral-length train. She wore a cathedral length veil edged with Swarovski crystals and crystal appliques. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory roses, while lilies, light green hydrangeas and white mini orchids. An antique broach belonging to the bride's grandmother, Mary Rotunda, was placed in the center of the bouquet.

Serving as maid of honor was Aubrey Hannum of Fredonia, childhood friend of the bride. Bridesmaids included friends of the bride Angela Orlikowski of Cheektowaga, Kristin Schmick of Salamanca and Andra Dobosz of East Amherst. Junior bridesmaids included cousins of the bride, Molly Kozlowski of Windsor, Calif., Casey Hamilton and Nicole Hamilton of Tracy, Calif. The bridesmaids wore strapless, eggplant chiffon gowns featuring a sweetheart neckline. They carried hand-tied bouquets of ivory, purple, and green hydrangeas.

The best man was Erik Horton of Lexington Park, Md., brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Michael Gollnitz and Scott Gollnitz of Fredonia, brothers of the bride, and Tom Carlin of Brooklyn, friend of the groom. Junior groomsmen included cousins of the bride, Jack Kozlowski of Windsor and Michael Hamilton of Tracy.

Readings were given by the groom's aunt, Ann Mulkin of Fredonia, and the groom's cousin, Erin Crise of Fredonia.

A reception was held following the ceremony at the Clarion Hotel in Dunkirk. Guests attended from California, Colorado, Florida and South Carolina.

The bride is a graduate of Fredonia High School and SUNY Fredonia with a bachelor's degree in business marketing. She currently works for Citigroup as a securities analyst.

The groom is a graduate of Dunkirk High School and SUNY Fredonia with a bachelor's degree in business marketing. He currently works for Citigroup as a product control analyst.

The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica and now resides in Getzville, N.Y.
