St. Ambrose 2

The Lady Monarch's relentless defense didn't allow a point for the first two quarters while compiling a 27-point lead before allowing a basket. Quinn Bankoski and Brittany Lombardo each had eight points to lead N.C.C.S. while Dominique Valvo and Hannah Cybart both chipped in six points. The Monarchs are now 5-0 in league play and will be competing in the Southtown's Catholic School Tournament over the holiday break.

N.C.C.S. JV 20,

St. Peter and Paul 12

Mackenzie Markham's seven points combined with Allison Cortes and Katie Price's four points each allowed the Lady Monarchs to defeat the Lady Saints from Hamburg. The N.C.C.S. defense, led by Lilly Kasperek and Olivia Gullo, helped limit St. Peter and Paul's Abigail Anderson to six points.

N.C.C.S. JV 14, Immaculate Conception 8

Allison Cortes and Katie Price each scored four points to lead the Lady Monarchs to victory. Kylie Warren and Bernadette Banach played well defensively to contain Carson Helmicki of Immaculate Conception to four points.

N.C.C.S. JV 15,

St. John Vianney 9

After a close first quarter, the Lady Monarchs were able to pull away against St. John Vianney. Katie Price's six points and Allison Cortes' four points paced the Lady Monarchs to victory. For N.C.C.S., Lilly Kasperek and Jessica Beehler played stellar defense against St. John Vianney's leading scorer Anna Vanwie.

Soccer officials class

An entry class is being planned for anyone interested in being USSF certified for soccer. Interested officials must be at least 14-years old by May 1, 2012. Youth and adult referees are wanted.

Bills Boosters set to watch season finale

The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots game on Sunday at the World War II Vets Club. Pizza and wings will be provided at halftime.
