K of C Free Throw Championship
The annual Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship will be held Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. at Northern Chautauqua Catholic School. The event is open to all boys and girls ages 10 to 14 in the local level of competition. Participants are required to furnish proof of age and written parental consent. Winners progress through local, district and state competitions.

Soccer officials class
An entry class is being planned for anyone interested in being USSF certified for soccer. Interested officials must be at least 14-years old by May 1, 2012. Youth and adult referees are wanted.

Bills Boosters set to watch season finale
The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots game on Sunday at the World War II Vets Club. Pizza and wings will be provided at halftime.
