Pomfret tax receipt instructions
The Tax Collector for the Town of Pomfret would like to remind residents that if you mail your tax payment in and would like a paid receipt, you need to include a self-addressed stamped envelope with the payment. This is stated on the back of the tax bill.
Due to the budget constraints we cannot send back the receipts. We will hold the receipts at Town Hall if you wish to pick them up instead.
The Tax Collector also reminds residents they can view the tax bills on the County website at www.co.chautauqua.ny.us.
You need to find tax payments under Online Services and click on the tax rolls and bills and the current year and your town. It may take a while to download depending on the size of your town.
Collins Liberty Fest meeting
The town of Collins Recreation Department will have a meeting Monday regarding the Liberty Fest. Discussion at the meeting will involve the possible planning of the second annual Liberty Fest. The meeting will be at 1 p.m. at the L.K. Painter Center.
