The Northern Chautauqua Pro-Life Committee is once again sponsoring the annual Novena-for Life Pilgrimage from Saturday, Jan. 14, to Sunday, Jan. 22. This event is held at different parishes in the vicariate each evening and leads up to the 39th anniversary of Roe v. Wade on Jan. 23. It also coincides with the National March for Life in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 23. Each evening's service will begin with the recitation of the rosary, followed by benediction, and will last about 30 minutes. The locations and times are as follows:
Jan. 14 - 6:30 p.m., after Mass at St. Dominic Church in Westfield, Fr. Walter
Jan. 15 - 7 p.m., St. Dominic Church in Brocton, Fr. Walter
Jan. 16 - 7 p.m., St. Anthony Church in Fredonia, Fr. C.J. Westfield
Jan. 17 - 7 p.m., Holy Trinity Church in Dunkirk, Fr. Zalacca
Jan. 18 - 7 p.m., St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Dunkirk, Fr. Riter
Jan. 19 - 7 p.m., Blessed Mary Angela, St. Hedwig Church in Dunkirk, Fr. Trela
Jan. 20 - 7 p.m., St. Joseph Church in Fredonia, Deacon Hens
Jan. 21 - 7 p.m., Holy Trinity Church in Dunkirk, Fr. Zalacca
Jan. 22 - 7 p.m., Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Silver Creek, Fr. Fiebelkorn
