Julia Rose Gugino of Leon and Brian Walsh of Kunsan, South Korea, were united in marriage at 11 a.m. on Jan. 3, 2012. Judge Leslie Gibbons officiated at the ceremony at the Springville Town Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Deborah (Gernatt) and Frank Gugino of Leon. The groom is the son of Kathy and Bill Walsh of Gowanda.
The bride's gown was handmade by her mother. Serving as maid of honor was Jessica Rinehart of Dunkirk, the bride's longtime friend. The best man was Tyler Gillis of Gowanda, friend of the groom.

A small reception was held at the home of Kathy and Bill Walsh.
The bride is a graduate of Pine Valley Central School and is currently attending Hartwick College.
The groom is graduate of Gowanda Central School and currently is stationed at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea.
A larger reception is planned for spring 2013 when the groom returns home.
