Caitlin Hirschbeck and Erik Barkley announce their engagement. Hirschbeck is the daughter of Michael and Mary Hirschbeck of Fredonia. Barkley is the son of Harry and Maureen Barkley of Smethport, Pa.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Fredonia Central School and SUNY Fredonia. She is an accountant with Bahgat & Laurito-Bahgat, CPAs.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Smethport area Junior and Senior High. He received his bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University and his master's degree from Southeast Missouri State University. He is the head athletic trainer at SUNY Fredonia.
