Melissa Follett and Michael Pietrkiewicz announce their engagement. Follett is the daughter of Darlene Follett of Fredonia. Pietrkiewicz is the son of David and Carol Pietrkiewicz of Fredonia.
The bride-to-be served in AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps in Sacramento, Calif., in 2003. She graduated with honors from Fredonia State University in 2009 and earned her master's degree in social work with honors from the University of Buffalo in 2012. She works for the Cassadaga Job Corps Academy.
The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of Fredonia High School and graduated with honors at St. Bonaventure University in 2007. He is an outreach and admissions counselor at Cassadaga Job Corps Academy.
