The Fellowship in Christ youth group meets on the second and fourth Friday of each month. The program this past Friday centered on stress and peer pressure. All youth in junior and senior high or past high school are welcome.
On Sunday the message at the 11 a.m. service will be on healing. This will be followed by a faith healing service at 6:30 p.m.
A family movie night, complete with refreshments, will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m. Come and bring a friend.
Feb. 11 is the date for the Amish dinner. This is the Valentine's Day celebration and all attending meet at the church at 5 p.m. to carpool to Panama. Dinner is $17 per person and features two meat entrees and two choices of pie. This is a family-style dinner served in an Amish home. For more information, call 672-9862 for reservations.
Sunday School continues to meet at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday.
The Health and Fitness group meets on Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. to weigh-in, discuss good nutrition and participate in simple stretches and exercises.
Solid Rock Men's Fellowship will meet on Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. A discussion of their mission project and a group trip to a Sabres game will be discussed. Call Denny at 785-7656 for more details.
Pastor Sandi Ball and Dave will be going on a pilgrimage to Israel from Feb. 22 to March 2. Those who would like to send prayer requests to place in the Western Hall should prepare their requests and turn them in by Feb. 19. The Western Hall is the wall of the original temple of Jesus's time and one of the most holy sites in Israel. Prayers are continuous here 24 hours a day in both the men's and women's section and focus on the requests which are tucked into the crevices between the stones of this wall.
