State Police at Fredonia
SHERIDAN - On Thursday, troopers charged Barbara D. Kern, 28, of Finch Street in Dunkirk for driving while intoxicated.
Troopers reported Kern was driving east on Route 20 and north on South Roberts Road and drove over the white fog line on both roads. She reportedly failed sobriety tests and was taken to the Fredonia barracks. While there, she provided a breath sample that was reported to be .16 percent.
Kern was issued tickets for the Town of Sheridan Court where she is scheduled to appear on Feb. 16.
WESTFIELD - On Wednesday, Robert W. Burgess, 49, now living in Ripley, was charged with fourth-degree stalking, a violation of Penal Law section 120.45 (1,2,3).
Burgess is accused of a continuing course of action beginning in March 2011 and continuing to January 2012 that caused his victim to be fearful for her safety and well being. Burgess was arraigned in the Village of Westfield Court and released on his own recognizance. An order of protection was also issued, forbidding him to contact his victim.
Burgess is scheduled to return to Westfield court on Feb. 21.
Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office
BROCTON - Richard A. Harrell, 50, of Brocton, was taken into custody without incident Wednesday on a warrant for violation of probation. Harrell was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail. Bail has not been set at this time.
JAMESTOWN - Camille R. Hodnett, 42, of Jamestown, was charged Thursday with first-degree offering false instrument for filing, third-degree welfare fraud and misuse of food stamps after she allegedly failed to report her income to the Department of Social Services. This allowed Hodnett to receive $5,258 in benefits she was not entitled to have. She was issued tickets and will appear in the City of Jamestown Court at a later date.
Silver Creek Village Court
Shadow L. Snyder, 22, of Farnham was arraigned on a warrant charging him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was released on his own recognizance and returns to court Feb. 1.
Karen E. Kaminski, 54, of Sarasota, Fla. was arraigned on charges of driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, blood alcohol over the legal limit and resisting arrest. She was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail and returns to court March 7.
Lona Denisco-Rodriguez, 39, of Central Avenue received a 3-month adjournment in contemplation of dismissal on a dog at large offense.
Kurt Kaczmarczyk, 23, of Angola was arraigned for aggravated unlicensed operation and driving the wrong way on a one-way street. His case was adjourned to March 7.
Landon Lashomb, 27, of Irving was arraigned for leaving the scene of an accident. He will return to court Feb. 8.
William A. Maecker, 58, of Central Avenue received a dismissal on a charge of storage of motor vehicles.
Ismael Merced, 42, of Oak Street received a 3-month adjournment in contemplation of dismissal on a dog at large case.
A 17-year-old Irving boy received a 3-month adjournment in contemplation of dismissal for a curfew violation.
Ann Vickers, 69, of Division Street had her case dismissed for dog at large.
Mark A. Parisio, Sr., 48, of Adams Street was arraigned on a motor vehicle storage complaint. His case was adjourned to Feb. 22.
