Dunkirk police have confirmed an incident occurred at 226 Lincoln Ave. Saturday night. However, Desk Sgt. Dan Manzella said Monday the incident is not being investigated as a home invasion.
Manzella said Saturday night's incident appears to be an isolated occurrence and the victims knew those involved.
He also said the victims are not cooperating with the investigation.
Sentencing adjourned for Thomas Rell
MAYVILLE - Thomas Rell, who pleaded guilty in connection with the shooting death of Alan Kilburn on Oct. 17, 2010, was supposed to be sentenced Mon-day in County Court.
The sentencing was adjourned until Feb. 14.
State Police at Jamestown
ELLERY - On Wed-nesday, Nikita Boboljov, 21, of Orlando, Fla., and Marina Florianovich, 23, of Spokane, Wash., were both charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon (felony) and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
During a routine truck inspection at the Interstate 86 overlook, troopers reported locating a loaded Glock 22 .40 caliber handgun and metal knuckles. Boboljov reportedly admitted that the metal knuckles belonged to him while Florianovich reportedly admitted the handgun belonged to her.
Both subjects were transported to the state police barracks in Jamestown where they were processed. They were arraigned in the Town of Ellery Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
BUSTI - On Thursday, troopers assisted Pennsylvania state police with taking Beau Trask, 22, of Busti into custody. He was wanted by the Pennsylvania state police on an outstanding warrant.
Trask was located at his residence in Busti, taken into custody, and transported to the state police barracks in Jamestown where he was processed as a fugitive from justice.
Trask was arraigned in the Town of Busti Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
ELLERY - On Thursday, Erik Abdraimov, 22, of Munelein, Ill., was turned over to the Border Patrol. Originally, a trooper was assisting the New York State Commercial Vehicle Unit at the Ellery Overlook rest area on Interstate 86 with a truck inspection.
Abdraimov reportedly did not have proper identification and it was reported that he was not in the United States legally.
NORTH HARMONY - On Thursday, troopers assisted the Lakewood/Busti Police Department with a vehicle stop on Route 394.
Reportedly, Thomas Christeson, 26, of Bradenton, Ohio, one of the passengers, was involved in a strong arm robbery that had recently occurred Warren, Pa. He was charged with being a fugitive from justice and transported to the state police barracks in Jamestown.
The driver of the vehicle Philip George, 22, was believed to be under the influence of an unknown drug and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs after reportedly failing several roadside tests. George was transported to state police barracks in Jamestown where he was evaluated by Chautauqua County drug recognition specialist. A urine sample was secured from George.
Both Christeson and George were processed, arraigned in Town of Busti Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
FALCONER - On Friday, Blaydon Niles, 20, and Ryan Sowrey, 21, both of Ellicott, were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Originally, Niles was pulled over on Route 394 for a traffic violation. While speaking to Niles, the officer reportedly observed a bag of marijuana on the floor of the car. Both Niles and Sowrey were removed from the car and searched. The officer reported locating a pipe containing marijuana on Sowrey's person. In addition, the officer reported finding half a Hydrocdone pill in the ashtray. Neither man had a prescription for this controlled substance.
Both suspects were transported to state police barracks where they were processed, issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Ellicott Court and released.
KIANTONE - On Saturday, Barbara Guiffreda, 62, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated.
A trooper pulled Guiffreda over on Spencer Road after reportedly seeing her vehicle almost enter a ditch. Reportedly, she failed several field sobriety tests. She was transported to state police barracks in Jamestown where she provided a breath sample that was reported as .12 percent.
She was processed, issued tickets returnable to the Town of Kiantone Court and released to a sober individual.
On Friday, troopers charged Michael Forness, 58, of Jamestown for driving while intoxicated and exposure of a person.
While patrolling Route 60, a trooper reportedly observed Forness urinating in front of Community Bank in the City of Jamestown. The trooper approached him, but Forness drove away. Forness was pulled over and reportedly failed several sobriety tests.
He was transported to state police barracks in Jamestown where he provided a breath sample that was reported to be .11 percent. Forness was processed, issued tickets returnable to the City of Jamestown Court and released to a sober individual.
POLAND - On Friday, members of the New York State Police and the Kennedy Fire Department responded to a personal injury accident on Interstate 86.
Reportedly, Joseph Linquist, 23, of Cherry Creek was traveling east in the right land behind Sherry Richards, 53, of Jamestown when he attempted to pass her utilizing the left lane.
Linquist re-entered the right lane and struck the rear driver side of her vehicle, causing her to strike the guard rail.
Richards was airlifted to Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa., with a severe head injury. Linquist was issued tickets for speed not reasonable and moving from lane unsafely. Linquist was not injured as a result of the collision. Richard's condition is unknown.
