Ladies Society Blessed Mary Angela Parish
The Ladies Society of Blessed Mary Angela Parish met Tuesday evening, Feb. 14 at the Social Center.
President Carole Schiller welcomed the members and offered a prayer.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read by Jenny Naruszewicz. Joan Zielinski gave the treasurer's report and Dorothy Sarzyniak collected the annual dues. Sophia Urbanik reported for the sunshine committee.
Strawberry desserts were served from a table covered with a red cloth centered with a large heart shaped box of chocolate candy. There were several dishes filled with colorful Valentine's Day candy. Red candles in crystal holders flanked the centerpiece.
The officers of the society served on the refreshment committee.
A raffle was held and many prizes were awarded. Dorothy Sarzyniak won the box of chocolate candy.
The next Ladies Society will be Tuesday, March 13 at 7 p.m. at the Social Center.
