Dr. Robert Gage, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Dunkirk, has just published "The Essential Bible Handbook" in a CD format. "The Essential Bible Handbook" is a result of more than 50 years of study by Gage. He has served as senior pastor of some of the best-known and historic Baptist churches of America, including The First Baptist Church in the City of New York. He also traveled throughout the United States for many years as an evangelist and Bible teacher, holding meetings in more than 40 states and 5 foreign countries.
"The Essential Bible Handbook" includes seven volumes, 3766 pages and 57 supplemental materials. The handbook is designed to help people better understand the Bible and have a more effective personal Bible study. Gage is also the author of 16 other self-published books, including "Cultivating Spiritual Fruit," "Discipleship Evangelism," "Basic Discipleship," "The Pastor's Counseling Workbook," and "The Baptism of George Washington." Gage is a graduate of Philadelphia Biblical University and Newport University. Other studies were accomplished at Tennessee Temple University, The New School and Eastern Baptist Seminary. He has been senior pastor at Baptist churches in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Michigan and Florida.
