Silver Creek water bills due
The Silver Creek Village Clerk's Office would like to remind water customers that balances for water bills is due by March 5 during business hours. The balance village residents have not paid will be sent to the county to be relevied with back taxes. Out of village residents water will be shut off.

registration Monday
Brocton Central School kindergarten and pre-kindergarten registration will be held Monday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the elementary school office.
All kindergarten students who will be 5 years of age on or before Dec. 1, 2012 and Pre-K students who will be four years of age on or before Dec. 1, 2012 must be registered.
Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate and an updated immunization record. Appointments will be made for the follow-up kindergarten screening at time of registration. Any questions, contact the elementary office at 792-2100.
CWC cancels hike set for Saturday
Due to the lack of snow, the Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy has canceled its snowshoe/cross-country ski event scheduled for Saturday at its Randy Allan Hendrickson Preserve.
City meetings today
The Dunkirk Local Devel-opment Corporation will hold its annual organization meeting today at 11 a.m. in City Hall. Following that, it will hold a regular meeting. The Common Council Finance Committee is scheduled to meet today at 5 p.m. Both meetings are in City Hall.
At 6 p.m., the city Plan-ning Board will meet in the Development Department conference room in Suite 210 in the Stearns Building.
