St. John's to hold 'Bible 101'
On six Tuesdays in Lent, from 7 to 8 p.m., a Bible study, "Bible 101" will be presented. This will give those attending, not only an opportunity to hear more about the Bible, but an opportunity to learn how the Bible affects our lives.
Sunday services will be held at the usual time, 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.
St. John's is located on the corners of W. Fourth and Lark streets in Dunkirk. The public is invited and welcome to join in all events.
Church to show film 'Courageous'
The Lake Shore Chapel at 4552 W. Main Road in Fredonia will show the film "Courageous" on Sunday night, Feb. 26 at 5:30 p.m.
The film is about four men, one calling: to serve and protect. When tragedy strikes home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith and their fathering. Protecting the streets is second nature. Raising their children in a God honoring way? That's courageous.

Church to hold chicken and biscuit dinner
Dewittville-Hartfield United Methodist Church will host a delicious Chicken & Biscuit dinner on March 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. The $7 donation includes beverage and dessert. The church is located at the intersection of Route 430 and Meadows Road in Dewittville.
