MAYVILLE - Chautauqua Lake Central School students are currently rehearsing for "Happy Days, a New Musical." Students in grades seven through 12 are in the cast and crew for the secondary school musical, with book by Garry Marshall, music and lyrics by Paul Williams.
Performances will be in the CLCS Auditorium at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 9 and 10. Purchase pre-sale tickets in the Secondary School Office and from cast members through March 8. Tickets will also be available at the door before each performance and at the preview. Senior citizens may attend a free preview on Thursday, March 8, at 7 p.m., as may those who have purchased pre-sale tickets for the Friday or Saturday performance. Children ages 4 and under may attend any performance at no charge.
Vocal music teacher Jennifer Davis is directing the show; Richard Lundquist is the conductor, and technology teacher Nicholas Anson designed the set. Wendy Marlinski is the rehearsal accompanist; Heather Martin is the choreographer.
