Twenty-four houses for wrens, wood ducks, owls and bluebirds were made by Christopher Carlson, Eagle Scout candidate, and members of Boy Scout Troop 254 sponsored by St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Dunkirk. Leonard Wencek of Dunkirk is the scoutmaster. The houses will be placed throughout Lake Erie State Park. Christopher, who chose the bird houses as his Eagle Scout project, is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Paul K. Carlson of West Lake Road, Dunkirk.
