SHERIDAN - On Wednesday at about 3:45 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Center and King roads.
Upon investigation, deputies determined Jessica Cannon, 28, of Fredonia, was traveling north on Center approaching the intersection of King. Larry Casey, 21, of Dunkirk, reportedly was stopped as Cannon approached, but entered the intersection and failed to yield to the right of way to Cannon. Her vehicle struck the rear passenger side of Casey's, proceeded across the road and knocked down a stop sign.
Casey was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital. Scott Godios, 39, of Cheektowaga, a passenger in Cannon's vehicle, was transported to Lake shore Hospital.
Casey was issued a ticket for failure to yield to the right of way at a stop sign and will appear in the Town of Sheridan Court.
Jamestown Police release identity of larceny suspect
JAMESTOWN - The Jamestown Police have released the name in a church burglary in Jamestown.
The subject responsible for two separate church burglaries is John A. Bish, 45. Bish was indicted by a Chautauqua County Grand Jury on two counts of third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny for his involvement in the burglaries at the Greek Orthodox Church at 15 Francis St. and the Bethel Lutheran Church on West Third Street in the city of Jamestown.
Bish is currently being held in the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash or $200,000 property bond.
Investigators were able to identify Bish after receiving multiple calls and tips from citizens and other law enforcement officials from Erie County who had recognized Bish in the media that was released after the incident.
Dunkirk man busted for selling crack to STRDTF agents
Victor Orlando Sanchez, 26, of West Fifth Street, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance Wednesday. At 7:25 p.m. Dunkirk City Police served a Chautauqua County Grand Jury indictment warrant on Sanchez without incident. It is alleged by the Task Force that Sanchez has sold quantities of crack cocaine to agents of the Task Force within the city of Dunkirk.
Sanchez was taken to the City of Dunkirk Jail and then transported to the Chautauqua County Jail where he will be held pending his arraignment. After being arraigned he will be returned to the jail pending further action by the court. The investigation is continuing at this time.
The City of Dunkirk Police Department and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force continue to ask for information from the community when they observe narcotics-related activity in their area and to call either the City of Dunkirk Police, Village of Fredonia Police or the Task Force to give information about suspicious activity.
The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force is comprised of officers from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, the City of Dunkirk Police Department and the City of Jamestown Police Department.

SOUTH DAYTON - Jeremy Sanders, 31, of Second Street was charged with second-degree assault Sunday following an incident at Rough Kutts Bar the previous night. He was taken to Town of Dayton Court for arraignment and was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $200.
