Pancake Breakfast Sunday morning
The Brocton Interact Club and the Brocton Central School Honor Society are sponsoring a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday from 8 to 10 a.m. at Applebee's Restaurant on Vineyard Drive in Dunkirk. Tickets are $5 each and are available at the door. There will also be a silent auction available. All proceeds will go to the Brocton Arch Project. South Dayton Daffodil Festival March 31
The Daffodil Festival will be held March 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the South Dayton Firemen's Activity Hall, 34 Maple St., South Dayton. A craft show will run the entire length of the festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will also be a dessert contest at 10 a.m. Registration will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. All desserts entered must contain one of the following ingredients: orange, banana, lemon, pineapple, maple syrup or chocolate. Desserts must be in a non-returnable container with a copy of the recipe. Judging will include adult and children categories.
The Easter Bunny will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and an Easter egg hunt will take place at village park at 10 a.m. for toddlers through grade 6. A chicken and biscuit meal will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $6 adult and $4 children. Other events include a memorial dedication service at 12:45 p.m. and entertainment by Little Big Band from 1 to 3 p.m.
