On Saturday morning, troopers responded to a personal injury crash on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret.
A vehicle operated by Erica Elliott, 20, of Fredonia was stopped on Route 60 waiting to turn left into Lakeview Road.
The other driver, Kerrin Murphy, 19, of Fredonia was apparently distracted and did not see the vehicle ahead of her had stopped.
Elliott was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Murphy was ticketed for following too closely.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by Fredonia Fire/Rescue and ALSTAR ambulance.
On Friday, Bradley McCray, 43, of Corry, Pa., was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unregistered motor vehicle, unregistered trailer, and no seatbelt. The suspension is from an unpaid ticket in the Town of Busti from 1993.
A trooper stopped McCray for not wearing a seatbelt. He was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail on $500 bail.
The passenger in the vehicle, William Klawuhn, 30, of Columbus, Pa., was cited for no seatbelt and released.
On Friday, troopers charged Ronelle A. Penhollow of Ahrens Place Fredonia for driving while intoxicated.
According to troopers, she was speeding at a rate of 50 mph in a 30 mph zone on East Main Street in Fredonia. She reportedly failed field sobriety tests.
She was transported to the Fredonia barracks where her blood alcohol content was reportedly .12 percent. She was issued traffic tickets for the village of Fredonia and is due to appear on April 11.
