Irving man succumbs to injuries
HANOVER An Irving man has died after being hit by a vehicle earlier this week.
Richard Paul Miller, 48, of Versailles Road, Irving, died on Wednesday of injuries sustained after being hit by a motor vehicle while jogging on Monday morning. According to state police, Miller was jogging on Buffalo Road in the Town of Hanover at 9 a.m. Monday when he was struck by a vehicle. Miller reportedly crossed the road in front of a northbound vehicle driven by Cynthia Barber, also of Versailles Road.
Miller was transported to Lake Shore Hospital after the accident and was initially listed in critical condition before succumbing to injuries. Miller is survived by his wife and children.
Terrorist threat reported; Jamestown man arrested
JAMESTOWN A Jamestown man has been charged after he allegedly threatened to shoot a staff member in the South County Office Building.
Bobby R. Mount, 29, fled the building after making the threat, but was located by Jamestown police. He was charged with making a terroristic threat, a felony, and was transported to city jail.

Shannon M. Roche, 26, of Central Avenue, Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny on March 21. Roche allegedly stole $79.92 worth of merchandise from Walmart. She was released on an appearance ticket.
Timothy L. Skelly, 31, of Westfield was charged with having a suspended registration on March 22. Police were on patrol on Central Avenue when the LPR alerted to Skelly's vehicle. His registration was suspended due to an insurance lapse. He was released on an appearance ticket.
Sean M. McNiff, 19, of Central Avenue, Dunkirk was charged with having an open container and unlawful possession of alcohol under 21 on March 23. Police observed McNiff walking on Central Avenue with a can of beer at 11:40 p.m. He was released on an appearance ticket.
Allison M. Kenneth, 22, of Palymany was charged with having an open container on March 23. At 11:50 p.m. police observed Kenneth with an open container while on patrol on Central Avenue. Kenneth was released on an appearance ticket.
Adam F. Dawson, 21, of Brigham Road was charged with having an open container on March 24. Police observed Dawson leaving a residence on Central Avenue with an open container at 12:34 a.m. He was released on an appearance ticket.
Andrew T. Trotta, 24, of Orchard Park was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on March 24. He was observed coming out of the west municipal parking lot on a one-way street. He was released on $500 bail.
