Titans 4, Warriors 3

Anthony Fitzgerald scored the eventual game-winning goal with 38 seconds left in regulation as the Titans claimed the Mite Division title over the Warriors. Matthew Lotter picked up the assist on the goal.

Alexander Paluch added two goals and Caleb Gornikiewicz another for the winners while Kam Mages, Trevor Persch and Jonah Fox added assists.

Ikaika Wojcinski scored twice for the Warriors while Jack Frost added one goal. Assists went to Joseph Newton, Jessen Brecht, Nick Frazier, Tate Olson and Joey Yeager.

Aden Wilmore and Joshua Kneitinger played well at the blue line for the Titans while Lucas Pchelka and Owen Rush played well defensively for the Warriors.

Vineyards Golf Ladies Purple Posse League

The Purple Posse League will have its kick-off lunch Wednesday, April 25, at noon at the Liberty Cafe, which is located at 21 Prospect St., in Fredonia.

Call Janet Guenther at 672-2282 to make your lunch reservation.

The league will start play on Wednesday, May 2. Tee-off will be at 10 a.m. You can join the league at any time during the summer. Keep checking the OBSERVER for information about the Purple Posse League.

Golf Meeting

There will be a golf trip meeting on Sunday, April 15 at 7 p.m., at the Dunkirk Falcon Club, located on Benton Street. The meeting will be for all golfers going to Hubbard, Ohio to play in the Stahoo Penn-Ohio Tournament.

Full details and fees will be discussed. If you are unable able to make the meeting, contact Dennis Gawronski at 366-2083.

Fredonia Rec Open Swim Canceled

The Fredonia-Pomfret Recreation Department's Open Swim is canceled for Saturday, April 14. Open Swim will start again Saturday, April 21, at 9 a.m.

McDonald's Senior Tour

The ninth edition of the McDonald's Senior Tour will open its season with a registration brunch to be held at the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club on Monday, April 16.

Registration will begin at 11 a.m.

Any senior golfer, 60 years or older, is eligible to join the tour. Participants will be asked to sign on as a regular or as an alternate when registering. Car pooling will be encouraged when ever possible.

A registration fee of $15 will be collected at the door and $7 for the brunch.

All golfers attending are asked to bring any golf balls, shoes or clubs they wish to donate to "Bunkers In Bagdad."

Dick Nelson and Randy Carlson will be there to accept the donations.

Women Who Golf4Fun

The season will begin for the women on Wednesday, May 2, at Hillview. Tee-off is scheduled for 10 a.m.

The league is open to women golfers of all kinds.

A short meeting and a "Dutch Treat Pizza Party" will be held after golf.
